Our mould removal process

We offer expert mould removal services for both domestic and commercial properties. From the moment you reach out to us to the final step of restoring your space, here’s what you can expect:

Step 1

Initial chat

Call us, and we’ll listen to your concerns and arrange a visit. To help us understand the severity of the mould issue, we will ask you to provide as much information as possible. This could include, photos, the duration of the problem and size of the affected area.

Step 2

Do you need a damp and moisture survey?

When tackling a mould issue, we recommend a damp and moisture survey in order to identify the root cause of the mould. If you do decide you’d like the survey, the cost is deducted from any recommendation works we undertake from the findings of the survey.

Step 3

Tailored action plan

Based on our findings, we’ll develop a tailored plan to address the specific needs of your situation.

Step 4

Thorough cleaning

Using multiple methods, including HEPA vacuuming, which is designed to catch even the smallest particles, as well as manual washdowns and fungicidal treatments, we remove mould from every surface, killing the roots so it won’t return.

Step 5

Airborne spore elimination

We then use ultra-low volume (ULV) fogging to disperse a fine mist to clear airborne spores, leaving your air fresh, clean and odour-free.

Step 6

Final check

Once the work is complete, we’ll conduct a final inspection to ensure all mould has been removed and that the area is safe.

Mould removal: Frequently asked questions

What causes mould?
Mould thrives in damp conditions. This could be from leaks, condensation, rising damp, floods or poor ventilation. It can grow indoors and outdoors, often being worse in warm, humid environments such as bathrooms or kitchens.
Mould is classified as a category 1 health risk, similar to asbestos, and can pose serious health risks, including respiratory problems and allergies. It can also damage a property if left untreated. Our experts tackle the root cause, protecting your health and helping to avoid costly repairs. Without treating the source, mould is likely to return, causing further secondary damage. Professional care is the most reliable way to remove mould and prevent it from coming back.
If the affected area is smaller than 1m² and caused by condensation, you may be able to tackle it yourself. However, for larger areas – or when mould is linked to sewage or flooding – calling in professionals is essential. Attempting to remove mould yourself can be dangerous and may not effectively address the underlying issue.
We aim to be onsite within 24 hours. Fast action prevents further damage and keeps costs low.
From assessment to advanced cleaning techniques like HEPA vacuuming, washdowns and ULV fogging, we leave your property spotless and safe.
